Meet MediSurge: Zac Morton
We absolutely love working with so many compassionate people who care deeply about their job. The entire MediSurge team is dedicated to creating an awesome culture and to constantly delivering on our Five Pillars of belief.
Every member of our team makes a tangible difference. That’s why we wanted to take this chance to introduce you to one of our interns, Zac Morton.
Zac is currently a student at Ferris State University who also doubles as a MediSurge intern. He came to us after working with a partner company on some medical device manufacturing projects.
All of that experience comes in handy for Zac, too. He already holds and Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, and he’s well on his way to achieving his Bachelor’s. To top it all off, Zac is even part of the American Association of Mechanical Engineers, so he’s learning and networking, even when he’s not here with us.
One of Zac’s favorite things about the MediSurge team is how well they all work together. “What stands out to me is how relaxed, yet how professional everyone is,” he says. We like to have fun while still ensuring that our customers are getting the high-quality medical devices they deserve.
Zac is currently working on a new product launch, and he’s excited to see it come to fruition. “I hope that if I don’t get to see it in production, I at least leave the company very close to getting to that stage,” he says. Zac really cares about his work!
A Busy Life
Zac spends most of his time at school or at his internship. When he isn’t doing either or networking in industry groups, he somehow still finds time to be active.
“Normally I would love to play summer drop-in ice hockey, but we will see if the rinks even open this summer,” he says. Luckily, Zac also enjoys reading and learning about history, so he has some fun social isolation activities, too.
This experience as a whole has been awesome for him. “I am very grateful for being allowed to still intern at Medisurge in this crazy time,” he mentioned. “I know many of my fellow students were not given the same chance that I have been provided.”We’re grateful to have you too, Zac!
