The MediSurge team is comprised of many different people who are all brought together by one goal: creating high-quality medical devices. While we might all come from different walks of life, we support each other every day to make sure we can meet and exceed our goals.
Speaking of awesome team members, we wanted to introduce you to Allen Foster. He’s a Manufacturing Engineer for our team, and he uses his knowledge to create impactful medical devices with patient care in mind.
Allen graduated from Ferris State University with a degree in manufacturing engineering, and he’s been dedicated to the craft ever since. Although he’s worked in a few different industries, the medical device industry is what he currently calls home.
Allen has been involved in product launches, improving lines in products, and sustaining operations for several years. His experience in different positions taught him one important lesson: you’re only as good as your team.
A Reason to Smile
When asked about the medical device industry, Allen says, “It’s one of the few industries that makes people smile. Life is full of ups and down and when we end up in a situation where we need a procedure, we are fortunate to live in a time and place where the tools and devices used are of the highest quality.”
The rest of our team couldn’t agree more. That’s why we work hard to support each other at every turn. “What stands out about MediSurge,” says Allen. “is that the sense of ‘team’ is very strong.”
Looking Towards the Future
Allen has many plans for his future with MediSurge. “I’m looking forward to the improvement possibilities I see, in addition to the new product integration. I’m also excited to become a valued member of our team.”
When he’s not at work, Allen spends his time riding motorcycles, cooking, and adventuring outside. He loves to spend time with people, which helps him to get along well with the rest of our team.
At the end of the day, Allen is great at putting our job in perspective. “The items we make improve and save lives. It’s easy to forget that some people do not get to do what we do.”
Now that you’ve met one of our team members, we’d love to get to know you. Reach out to us today.
